Don't listen to the negative reviews
if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
What can I say I really don't like horror movies but this Stephen king adaptation is amazing the children are all dealing with so much with the threat of a monster definitely has a big impact on stranger things and I must say I can't wait for the sequel
Finally got around to seeing IT. Well worth it, should've seen it sooner. Reminds me a lot of Stranger Things. Too scary for under 10 yr olds but okay for preteens & teens. The friendships, special bonds & struggles has the same familiar feel of other Stephen King stories, such as Stand By Me. Pennywise (Skarsgard) does an amazing job. His minicing smiles, contortion movements & Joker laugh gives Tim Curry a run for his money. Fun to watch and jump a few times. Can't wait for chapter 2.
I really don't know why this movie get 7 start , i suggest this movie for kid!!
1. It's not scary. 2. When kids don't act like kids, it's stupid. 3. doesn't even have a proper story-line -- loosely bound with a lot of no common sense stuff.Except for looking good with graphics, all the time we keep praying that there would be some thread that would tie all this nonsense together to make us feel better in the end -- but it's flat nonsense. I'd personally prefer Jeepers Creepers over this, even the no graphic Conjuring 1 and 2 fare very well before this one. This over-hyped movie is a sheer disappointment. It hurts even more to know that this is just 'Chapter 1' of the nonsense. If there are anymore sequels past this, it would most definitely be a cumulative garbage of sorts since the main story holds no foundation of any sorts.
