Her father has passed away, and her mother struggles to cope, seeking solace in alcohol and boyfriends. Kim herself becomes pregnant after an adventure with an internet date. Something that turns her life upside down. What should she do? Those around her think she should have an abortion. She has doubts. Should she get an abortion and pursue her dream? Or have the child? The choice she makes results in an inner transformation. From an accommodating and somewhat dreamy girl with dance aspirations, she becomes a decisive woman. Even a mother who knows what she wants. I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
