In 48 hours, teams must collaborate, solve a problem and build a physical prototype based on one of the challenges within the category. By using state of the art equipment and expert tool techs, it allows ANYONE to make their ideas into something real. Throughout the competition, teams are supported by tool technicians and industry mentors, including some of America’s most successful product inventors.

Make48 Season 2 Full Episode Guide
The teams travel to the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas and present their products to buyers from the big box retail stores.
New product videos are created. A focus group of actual consumers is assembled to review the products.
The mentors give their feedback on the new prototypes. Tom consults an attorney about trademarks.
The teams get a first look at their new refined prototypes.
The three winning products begin their journey to store shelves. Designers are consulted, and work begins on refined prototypes.
The teams present their products to a panel of expert judges. Three winners are crowned.
The teams race against the clock to finish their prototypes and marketing materials before the presentations.
The teams pitch their products to a focus group of experts and get their advice on how to improve.
Supplies are purchased and tools are fired up. The prototyping begins.
A new group of teams are given a product challenge. They brainstorm and meet with patent attorneys.
